Libyan authorities said today that they have exhumed the bodies of 34 Ethiopian christians murdered by ISIS in April 2015.
Reuters quoted Libya’s interior ministry’s Criminal Investigation Department (CID) as saying on its Facebook page that the mass grave was unearthed on Sunday, after information was obtained during investigations of arrested IS members.
In April 2015, ISIS released a video showing Ethiopian christians being shot and beheaded on a beach, sending shock waves across the globe and taking Ethiopians to the street to denounce the terrorist group.
