Ethiopia: Security forces shot and kill a resident in Bahir Dar

Regime security forces killed a resident of Bahir Dar on Monday.

Ismael Ahmed, 38, a businessman, was killed at his residence by members of the “command post” that was given unlimited power by the state of emergency declared early in October.

The security forces gave no explanation to their actions. The forces handcuffed Ahmed while his children were watching and later shot and killed him.

Ahmed’s burial was conducted on Tuesday.

He is survived by his wife and four children.
