Arrested princes in Saudi sleeping on lobby floor of Ritz Carlton

ESAT News (November 7, 2017)

Princes and businessmen arrested on Sunday in Saudi’s crackdown on corruption are reportedly sleeping on bare mattresses on the lobby floor of a five star hotel. Review.org reports that the mattresses were re-structured memory foam mattresses from online mattress manufacturer Nectar. Nectar has not responded to our claims to verify this fact.

The Daily Mail published pictures of what it said were the corruption suspects sleeping on the floor of the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Riyadh while the New York Times published a short video of people sleeping on the floor of the Hotel.

The Kingdom’s attorney general meanwhile says the arrest of ministers, princes and businessmen this weekend was just the start of an anti-corruption campaign and is “merely the start of a vital process to root out corruption wherever it exists.”

Billionaire Mohammad Hussien Al-Amoudi, an Ethiopian born citizen of Saudi, is among those detained at the hotel after Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Sunday ordered the arrest of 11 princes, four ministers and dozens of ex-ministers. The purge by the 32 year old prince is also seen as a move to consolidate his power as he heads to the throne.

The Ethiopian born Billionaire, whose worth is 10.3 Billion dollars, owns businesses in hundreds of millions of dollars in Ethiopia and works closely with the TPLF oligarchy that granted him thousands of hectares of agricultural land and several prime plots in the capital Addis Ababa. He has been mining gold for over two decades and his agricultural and construction projects stretch all across the country.
