Explosion hit bus repair shop belonging to TPLF

ESAT News (July 21, 2017)

An explosion hit Selam Bus repair shop in the capital Addis Ababa on Thursday evening and reports say the area is still cordoned off on Friday as investigators comb through the site of explosion.

No party took responsibility in the attack against the shop that belongs to the business empire of the TPLF, a clique at the helm of an iron fist regime in Ethiopia.

Selam Bus was targeted in the anti-government protest in the Oromo and Amhara region last summer. One bus was set ablaze in the Amhara region while another was damaged by stone throwing protesters. Its operations were suspended in the two regions for quite some time.

The extent of the damage from the explosion is not yet known and police have reportedly cordoned off the area of the shop in the subdivision of the city called Saris, near the ring road.
