Oct. 23 (ESAT News) Ethiopians of Tigrean origin residing in Seattle has condemned the inflammatory remarks of Sebhat Nega who recently said that political power has been permanently placed beyond the reach of Amharas and Orthodox Christians.
In a press statement they issued in connection with Sebhat’s visit to Germany, the Tigreans condemned his statment as sinister and aimed at sowing discord among the people of Ethiopia. They underscored the fact that TPLF has tried to separate Tigreans from God and the people of Ethiopia in the last three decades.
The statement further stated that both Sebhat and TPLF neither represent Tigrians nor worry about the rest of Ethiopia. The Ethiopians advised the TPLF and its leaders to desist from dividing Ethiopians and pitting one ethnic group against another.
The statement aslo condemned Adwans domination of the rest of Tigray.
